SCI JCA Eligibility Criteria
To apply for the Junior Court Assistant (JCA) post 2025 in the Supreme Court of India, candidates must meet all the eligibility criteria, including age, educational qualifications, and other specified requirements.
Age Limit
To be eligible for the SCI Junior Court Assistant Post, Candidates must be between 18 and 30 years of age as of 08.03.2025. Age relaxation will be applicable for SC/ST/OBC, differently-abled individuals, ex-servicemen, and dependents of freedom fighters as per existing government rules. Supreme Court of India Recruitment Exam Pattern

Candidates who qualify in the Objective Type Written Test and Objective Type Computer Knowledge Test will be called for the Typing Speed Test on Computer and Descriptive Test. Those who pass these tests will need to appear for an Interview before an Interview Board and secure the minimum qualifying marks. The number of candidates called for the interview will not exceed a ratio of 1:3 (3 candidates per vacancy), depending on the availability of qualified candidates. After qualifying in the prescribed tests and interview, selected candidates will be placed on a merit-based panel for appointment as Junior Court Assistant. However, being placed on the panel does not guarantee appointment to the post.
